Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
My Psychological Center, also known as My Psych Center (“MPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is operated by An Elegant Sufficiency, A Psychological Corporation.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information through www.mypsychcenter.com, website inquiries, email subscriptions, and SMS text communications.
Clinical Information and Your Privacy Rights
Information related to your treatment and clinical records is governed by applicable health privacy laws and MPC’s separate Notice of Privacy Practices. That notice explains how protected health information may be used or disclosed and describes your rights regarding that information. You may request a copy from MPC.
This website Privacy Policy does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices or your electronic communication consent form. Visiting our website does not authorize us to send you recurring text messages or disclose your clinical information.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Depending on how you interact with MPC, you may provide:
Your name, email address, and telephone number.
Insurance information and general information about the services you are seeking.
Information included in an inquiry or other communication.
Email subscription preferences.
Electronic communication preferences, SMS consent, and opt-out requests.
Please provide only the information needed for your inquiry. Use the secure client portal for sensitive clinical information whenever possible.
Website and Technical Information
Our website hosting provider and connected website services may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies and similar technologies may be used to support website functions and understand website use. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls available on our website. Blocking cookies may affect some website features.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
Respond to questions and requests for services.
Coordinate consultations, appointments, and administrative support.
Address insurance and billing inquiries.
Send communications you have requested or authorized.
Deliver email newsletters when you subscribe.
Record and honor communication preferences and opt-out requests.
Operate, maintain, and protect our website and communications systems.
Meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.
Submitting a website inquiry does not establish a therapist–client relationship.
When We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate our website, manage inquiries, deliver communications, or maintain our technology systems. We limit sharing to what is needed for those services and apply appropriate contractual protections where required.
We may also disclose information when permitted or required by applicable law. Any disclosure of protected health information remains subject to applicable health privacy requirements.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS Communications and Mobile Information
Consent and Message Purposes
With your consent, MPC may send recurring SMS text messages about appointments, scheduling, billing, insurance, and other administrative matters. Messages may include automated notifications and responses from our team. At your request, messages may also include information related to your care or treatment.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving treatment. Providing your telephone number, submitting an inquiry, or visiting our website does not, by itself, enroll you in recurring SMS communications.
Information Used for Messaging
We collect and use your mobile number, messaging preferences, consent records, and messaging information to provide and manage the communications you authorize.
We may share necessary information with service providers that support message delivery, communications systems, and consent or opt-out recordkeeping, solely to provide those services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. These restrictions apply to all sharing described in this Privacy Policy.
Frequency, Charges, and Opting Out
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages sent from that number. Reply HELP for help.
To request that text messages from all MPC numbers stop, contact us at (877) 693-3357, email admin@mypsychcenter.com, or send a secure client portal message.
Opting out of SMS does not terminate your treatment or cancel scheduled appointments.
For additional information, review our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Email Communications
We may use email to respond to inquiries and send communications consistent with your preferences and authorizations.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you may unsubscribe using the link included in those emails or by contacting MPC. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not automatically change your preferences for appointment or other administrative communications.
Electronic Communication Security
Standard email and SMS text messages may not be completely secure. Information may be visible to someone with access to your device, account, or notifications.
MPC uses reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. We encourage you to use the secure client portal for sensitive information.
Email, text messaging, and website inquiries are not continuously monitored and should not be used for emergencies or urgent clinical needs. In an emergency, call 911.
