Hello! My name is Janae, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have been in practice since 2020. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among other modalities. My primary focus is working with youth and young adults who have experienced varying levels of trauma.

I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can focus on what matters most to them.

I believe that as human beings, we are highly adaptive — and that many of the challenges we face in adulthood stem from protective strategies developed earlier in life. My approach is deeply compassionate, affirming, and non-pathologizing, honoring the resilience each person brings to the healing process.
