Faria Alamkhel, LCSW
LCSW, TRAUMA-INFORMED AND CULTURALLY ATTUNED , SHE/HER
I became a therapist because I’ve witnessed how trauma, life transitions, and cultural pressures can affect every area of a person’s life. My passion is to create a safe, supportive space where you can heal, reclaim your voice, and grow stronger.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed care, EMDR, CBT, and culturally attuned approaches. As an Afghan American and Muslim therapist, I understand the unique challenges of navigating identity, family expectations, and belonging. I also speak Farsi, which allows me to connect with clients in their native language when helpful.
For Muslim clients seeking spiritually integrated care, I incorporate traditional Islamically integrated psychotherapy to support emotional healing in a way that aligns with their faith and values. For others, I draw on evidence-based therapies and holistic practices to meet your specific needs.
My journey has taught me that healing is possible at every stage of life. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you build resilience, restore balance, and create a life that feels authentic and whole.
