Ericka Amador, APCC
ASSOCIATE PCC, FIRMLY PLANTED ON THE EARTH, SHE/HER
With a deep commitment to supporting others, I view therapy as a collaborative journey that empowers individuals to overcome challenges and build upon their strengths. I have experience working in both educational and community mental health settings, supporting teens, transitional-age youth, and adults. My clinical background includes helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, co-occurring substance use, trauma, life transitions, and more. I also work with couples to enhance communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and the Gottman Method for couples work.
I enjoy working from an integrative and holistic lens, as it allows me to support clients in ways that feel most meaningful and effective for them — fostering deeper healing, connection, and personal growth.
