ASSOCIATE MFT, VALUING THE EXPERIENCES, SHE/HER

During my time as a therapist, I have worked closely with adults experiencing persistent and severe mental health conditions, as well as co-occurring substance use disorders. I strive to create a safe space for clients to explore their challenges, identify root causes, and understand how these experiences have shaped their lives.

I have supported clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar and schizophrenia spectrum disorders, substance use, personality disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and communication issues, and couples’ challenges.

Much of my work has involved clients who have experienced physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse. I’ve witnessed firsthand how therapy can be a transformative process that reshapes one’s outlook and restores a sense of empowerment.

My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, which I apply in individual, group, and family sessions.

I believe therapy is a vulnerable yet courageous process. When we allow ourselves to open up to another person, growth and healing become possible. Every individual has a story worth sharing, and I honor the humanity in each client I work with — seeing them not as a set of symptoms, but as a whole person with unique strengths, perspectives, and the capacity for change.

Fun Fact:

I used to live in a city that is deemed to be the “Ice Box of the Nation”. The temperature got to be 60 degrees below zero. If you walked outside with wet hair, if would freeze instantly.
