Alma Ibarra, Associate MFT/PCC
SHE/HER/ELLA
Welcome.
Iām grateful you are here. Life can be challenging, and at times it may feel overwhelming. My role is to walk alongside you in a supportive and collaborative way. I believe every person holds inner strength and wisdom, and together we can work toward reconnecting with that resilience as you move forward.
I am a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My background includes working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and survivors of domestic violence.
In our work together, I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. I adapt each session to your needs and goals, helping you feel empowered and supported while building meaningful coping skills.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel understood, encouraged, and equipped to take steps toward healing and growth.
