Alisia Ramos, LCSW, Senior Therapist
LCSW, PLAYING FOR A LIVING, SHE/HER
Hello!
My name is Alisia Ramos, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families within community mental health settings. It has been deeply rewarding to support individuals and families as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges.
One of my greatest passions is children’s mental health. A child’s mental well-being influences how they think, feel, and act, as well as their ability to manage stress, relate to others, and make decisions. It is a vital part of their overall health and development.
To support this, I use play therapy as one of several effective modalities. Play offers children a safe, approachable way to express their feelings and experiences — often more comfortably than through words alone. I tailor therapeutic techniques to each child’s age and developmental stage, creating a space where they can safely explore and grow.
My goal is always to create a supportive, empowering environment for every client — helping them connect to their strengths and move forward on their healing journey.
I have training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Synergetic Play Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques.
