Suzanne Wood, APCC

ASSOCIATE PCC, BEAUTIFUL VOICE, THEY/THEM

My approach to therapy is person-centered and trauma-informed, rooted in the belief that true healing requires not only self-understanding, but also an awareness of — and commitment to dismantling — the systems of oppression that impact our lives.

As an intersectional feminist and queer person, I bring both lived experience and clinical insight into my work. I have completed Level 1 Internal Family Systems (IFS) training through the IFS Institute and integrate this approach into my practice.

My areas of specialty include neurodivergence, trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming care, and cultivating healthy relationships. I also incorporate somatic awareness and mindfulness-based techniques, creating a supportive space that honors each client’s unique identity, story, and path to healing.
