KAP

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

We offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic modality in which ketamine is used as a complement to psychotherapy to help eligible patients experience more frequent breakthroughs and sustained improvement in symptoms. We take on the psychotherapy portion of the experience, while Journey Clinical’s medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This includes determining eligibility, developing a custom treatment plan, prescribing the medicine and monitoring outcomes.

In Ericka’s words…

With a deep commitment to helping others, I approach therapy as a collaborative journey focused on empowering individuals to overcome challenges and build on their strengths. I have experience in educational and community mental health settings, working with teens, transitional age youth, and adults.

My clinical background includes supporting individuals through depression, anxiety, PTSD, co-occurring substance use, trauma, life transitions and more. I also work with couples to enhance communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships.

Ericka’s Approach

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Somatic Experiencing
and the Gottman Method for couples work.

I enjoy utilizing an integrative approach because it allows me to support clients in a holistic way, helping them access healing and growth in ways that resonate with them most.
